FOUNDER’S STORY

In 2010 Ryan Delamater rode his bicycle over 16,000 kilometers thru 10 countries from Canada to Colombia. As he traveled he learned that people didn’t have clean drinking water in certain parts of the world. In 2015 he adopted the village of El Palmar in El Salvador and has served there for 9 years by going in 19 trips during that time.

From 2015-2019 he served as a youth pastor at Saddleback Church

In 2019 founded O C N W T R - a small church that began with 3 people in a Jui Jitsui studio on Wednesday Nights in San Clemente CA in May 2019.

In 2020 was asked by the President of the MIT Water Club to attend the MIT Water Summit - for our solar powered decentralized desalination project in El Salvador.

In 2021 began serving as a volunteer chaplain on Camp Pendleton Marine Base in San Clemente, CA with Adam Watts and Ryan Bareng where they developed Grapple Chapel which disciples military and law enforcement men who do not trust anyone.

In 2022 established Beach House an annual free event held at Sur Coffee in San Clemente, CA that aims to be a catalyst for grassroots churches and grassroots church networks through worship, prayer, story telling & friendships.

In 2023 after raising $360,000 through 493 givers (from 2019-2022) he decided to become a Special Education Teacher in the public school system because he hated fundraising. He now pays for the ministry himself and volunteers his time to it.

EDUCATION

He holds a Bachelors in Religious Studies, a Masters in Counseling & a Doctorate in Public Health with an Emphasis in Water Policy.

EXPERIENCE

He has traveled to 40 US states & 42 countries.

METHODOLOGY

He teaches decentralized policies and platforms that promote self determination and leverage through Source Water (Water), People for Bikes (Transportation) , Bitcoin (Currency) , and O C N W T R (Jesus & the Bible).

MINIMUM ECCLESIOLOGY

He teaches that “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (Matthew 18:20). A Church in its simplest and most pure form is “you , your family & friends - with your bibles & food & you give the money to help the poor to have water, food, clothing & houses”

MULTIPLICATION

He teaches “a few to 40 people” in a church. We aim to be a catalyst for people to propagate the teachings & lifestyle of Jesus Christ on an Individual Level vs. an Institutional Level.

LIFESTYLE

In his daily life he enjoys surfing, drinking coffee , riding bicycles, reading, listening to audio books and podcasts & investing in quality time with his family & friends.

JOB

He is a special education teacher at a school in California. He volunteers his time to O C N W T R.
